Marriage Contract Procedure
The Marriage contract procedure is as follows
Obtain a marriage application from the Marriage Bureau of the county you live in (e.g Jackson county is at the court house of KCMO).
Inform the Bureau that you are getting married at the Islamic Center of Greater Kansas City.
Make an appointment with the Islamic Center after you obtain the application, it takes about three days for the application to be available.
What to bring to the appointment:
The marriage application
You and the Bride to be
Photo IDs
Two witnesses
The bride wali or wakeel (father, older brother or representative)
Fee of $50.00
