Marriage Contract Procedure
The Marriage contract procedure is as follows
- Obtain a marriage application from the Marriage Buraeu of the county you live in (e.g Jackson county is at the court house of KCMO).
- Inform the Buraeu that you are getting married at the IslamicCenter of Greater Kansas City.
- Make appointment with the Islamic Center after you obtain theapplication, it take about three days for the application to beavailable.
What to bring to the appointment:
- The marriage application
- You and the Bride to be
- Photo IDs
- Two witnesses
- The bride wali or wakeel (father, older brother or representative)
- Fee of $50.00
